THE SITUATION

In large parts of Africa, it is becoming increasingly difficult to practice agriculture and thus feed the people of this continent. First and foremost, due to the climate crisis, Africa is facing rapidly growing desertification (desert expansion).

In order not to lose Africa as a hopeful market and economic partner, targeted measures and sustainable management projects are needed, which restore the people’s ability to act and autonomy, rather than making them passive recipients of short-term development aid.

Food security, renaturation, and economic sustainability are the keys to ensuring that people can stay in their homeland.

GOOD AND RIGHT FOR ALL

Therefore, it is in all our interests, in the sense of preserving global social and economic peace, to work together with the local people to restore their livelihoods. Food security, renaturation, and economic sustainability are the keys to ensuring that people can remain in their homeland.

On a smaller scale, this means agriculture and renaturation in the coastal regions of Africa, such as Namibia. Scaled to large areas of Africa, this leads to the regulation of moisture in the air masses and, for example, fewer heavy rainfall events and storms in Europe.
